Security System Remote Key Fobs

Callaway Security offers a remote control key fob with four billion codes that never repeat. Our key fob works with virtually any alarm manufacturer’s control panel through the data bus (as listed in the compatibility chart), uses no zones in data mode and will provide AWAY, STAY, DISARM and PANIC output. Once you connect the data lines, the encryptor will automatically self configure after it auto-detects the alarm panel.

  • Key fobs sold and installed by Callaway Security
  • Can be used to provide relay output if not compatible with the data bus on the alarm’s control panel
  • Can also control your garage door with the secured remote.

Arm, Disarm, or Call for Help Without Ever Touching a Keypad

Not everyone wants to remember a code or pull out their phone every time they walk in the door. Callaway Security & Sound adds Alarm.com key fobs to your system so anyone in the house or on your team can arm, disarm, or trigger a panic alert with a single press, no app, no code, no Wi-Fi required.

Powered by Alarm.com One-Touch Arm & Disarm Built-In Panic Button
  • No code to remember, no phone to unlock, just press a button
  • A dedicated panic button sends an emergency signal straight to monitoring
  • Every press is logged by fob, so you know who armed or disarmed, and when
One Button, Every Action

Everyone Gets Their Own Fob, and Their Own Record

Each fob is registered to your system individually, so every arm, disarm, or panic press shows up in your activity feed under that person's name. No shared code, no guessing who came and went.

1

Press a Button

Arm Away, Arm Stay, Disarm, or hold the panic button, whatever the moment calls for.

2

The Panel Responds

Your system reacts instantly, the same as if the action was entered on the keypad or in the app.

3

It's Logged

The action appears in your Alarm.com activity feed with a timestamp and the name tied to that fob.

What's Included

Everything a Key Fob Adds to Your System

Small device, big convenience. Here's what a key fob brings to your existing security system.

One-Touch Arm & Disarm

Arm Away as you walk out, or disarm as you pull into the driveway, all with a single press.

Stay Mode Button

Arm just the doors and windows while you're still home, without touching a screen.

Dedicated Panic Button

A press-and-hold panic button sends an immediate signal to the monitoring center in an emergency.

No Code to Remember

Great for kids, grandparents, or anyone who'd rather not memorize a PIN under pressure.

Works Without Wi-Fi or a Phone

No app, no charging, no signal needed. It just works, every time you press it.

Individual Activity Tracking

Every fob is registered separately, so each press is logged by name in your Alarm.com activity feed.

Why It's Different

Keypad or App Alone vs. Adding a Key Fob

A key fob doesn't replace your keypad or app, it gives you a faster option for the moments that call for it.

Scenario Keypad or App Only With a Key Fob
Hands Full With Groceries Set everything down to disarm One press from your keychain
Kids or Grandparents Have to remember a code Press a single button, no code needed
Phone Dead or No Signal App is unusable Fob still works, no battery or Wi-Fi needed
Emergency Situation Requires unlocking phone or reaching keypad Press and hold the panic button instantly

Most households and businesses use fobs alongside a keypad and the app, not instead of them, so everyone has the option that works best for them in the moment.

Security Key Fob FAQs

Answers to what customers ask us most about key fobs.

What can a key fob actually do?

Most key fobs let you arm the system Away or Stay, disarm it, and trigger a panic alert, all with a single button press, no code or app required.

How does the panic button work?

Pressing and holding the panic button for a few seconds sends an emergency signal directly to the monitoring center, the same as any other panic alarm on your system.

Can I give a fob to my kids or an employee without sharing my code?

Yes. Each fob operates independently, so you can hand one out without ever revealing your personal code, and remove it from the system if it's ever lost.

Will I know who used the fob and when?

Yes. Each fob is registered separately, so every arm, disarm, or panic event shows up in your Alarm.com activity feed labeled with that specific fob.

Does the key fob need Wi-Fi or a charged phone to work?

No. A key fob communicates directly with your panel over its own wireless signal, so it works without an app, Wi-Fi, or a charged phone.

What happens if a fob is lost or stolen?

That specific fob can be removed from your system at any time, so it stops working immediately without affecting any other fobs, codes, or the rest of your system.
